Does the measuring visit cost anything?
Yes, $90,000 COP in Cali and its metropolitan area. That amount is fully deducted from the price of the curtains if you order them, so in practice you do not pay for the visit. For towns farther away, the price is agreed in advance.
How much do blackout curtains cost in Cali?
From $164,220 COP/m² for Onda Serena blackout, and from $137,445 COP/m² for translucent or sheer, with an aluminum track included. There is a minimum charge of 1.60 m² and 1.30 m in height per curtain. Motorization starts at $1,197,021 COP per curtain.
How long does it take from measuring to installation?
It depends on the fabric and the quantity. When we take the measurements we give you a specific date, not a vague range.
Do you wash curtains you did not install?
Yes. We take them down, wash them according to the type of fabric and hang them back up.
How often should they be washed in Cali?
Once or twice a year. The humidity in the city encourages dust mites and mold in fabrics, especially in poorly ventilated rooms.
Can I see the fabrics before deciding?
Yes. At the visit we bring fabric and system samples so you can see and touch them in your own space, with the real light that comes in.
Can they be motorized?
Yes, any curtain or blind. You can raise, lower or schedule it from your phone, which is especially useful for tall windows.
Which brands do you work with?
Hunter Douglas, Pentagrama and Flexalum, plus Huper Optik solar films. Certified fabrics, mechanisms backed by the manufacturer and spare parts available.
How do I pay?
Online with a credit or debit card, PSE, bank transfer or Bre-B (through Bold). Washing is paid when you book. For custom curtains you pay a deposit when you approve the quote and the balance before installation.
Can I cancel or change the date?
Washing and the measuring visit follow the same cancellation rules as a cleaning: as long as no professional has taken the service, we refund what you paid minus the 5% booking fee. Once it has been taken, with 48 hours or more, or within the grace period, only the fee is deducted as well, and with less than 48 hours $50,000 COP is deducted for washing and $45,000 COP for the measuring visit, which is 50% of its price. You can receive the balance or, if you message us within the following 24 hours, apply it to a new date; if you do not message us, we issue the refund. For custom curtains, the deposit is not refunded once manufacturing has started.
Why do you record the space?
To have evidence that protects us both. The professional records a short video of the space on arrival and another one when finished, with no audio and without focusing on people, and we use it to resolve guarantee claims, damage and theft. It is a condition of the service and you authorize it in a separate checkbox when you buy. Videos are kept for 120 days and then we delete them, unless there is an open claim or an authority asks for them to be kept. If something is missing after the service, let us know within the following 48 hours.
